Temescal Valley Body Painting

I’m Dave DeGraf, a solo body paint artist working in Southern California. Well, not quite solo: I have a dedicated team member who is my primary model and my assistant. I started this body art endeavor in Indio in 2019 as a workshop held in the local art center. Now I paint exclusively at a resort near Corona, hence the name Temescal Valley Body Painting. More often I refer to myself as Body Painting by Figure 8, like on Instagram. Please have a look at my page! “Figure 8” is descended from an art modeling business I used to own: Figure 8 Experience. When I transitioned to body painting in 2019, I brought the phrase along to my new art form. But it’s all just me. And Alyssa. And perhaps you too if you’d enjoy working in a beautiful resort setting with a very low-pressure duo. We paint, we chat, we take a few pictures of the design, and we have lunch.
